Lovely building but the offices below need to be upgraded and modernized. Other than that, a lovely place to visit. Parking is a pain.

Beautiful old church, worth a look if open, after travelling through Europe have an appreciation of these old churches

This is one of Newcastle's most beautiful churches and certainly one of the nicest buildings in downtown Newcastle itself. We were lucky enough to be walking past when a service was concluding, and asked if we could have a quick look inside the building. The building has been well preserved - tall coloured led light windows, wooden pews inside, etc.... More

The Baptist Tabernacle in Newcastle overlooks the Civic Park. The building is a typical Tabernacle building. A nice building dominated by pillars across the front, it appears that the church is only open for Sunday services, which detracts from its value as an attraction.
