We have difficulty finding an Anglican Church in Newcastle (just for major holidays). It is a beautiful church and has been upgraded wonderfully. The glass floor in the aisle is a blessing for kids to see.

Knowing that this church survived a Japanese attack and also earthquake and still is architecturally intact and interesting is amazing. If you visit this church also take some time to walk through the graveyard behind and read the inscriptions of those interred there.

Well appointed cathedral on the hill of the city. Beautiful interior. The park behind is worth a wander too. Historical graves. Great view of the city and the Hunter River.
