Music band on Easter Sunday was a pleasant surprise. Great walk around the well presented gardens. Easy to get to location on Dean street was a bonus. Loved the mature trees which provided great shade and a sense of serenity.

The Albury pioneers would love their huge trees 117 years on. The gardens were established in 1887. Some trees still stand above us guarding us from heatstroke and sunburn in a centre of serenity.

Whether wishing for a brisk walk, relaxing picnic or kicking a ball there's a place to be found here with good toilet facilities. We're currently enjoying the country type music gathering.

This garden looks great for kids, with a separate area for them. Overall, it's small, more a park than a botanic garden, but very well-kept and full of cockatoos.

It's terrific to find botanical gardens so close to the CBD so that they receive more traffic than other gardens in other towns that are further removed from the action. This is a lovely place to wander and relax. I saw a sign advertising a music event in the park coming up in the near future and I thought what... More

Nice place to sit and relax or to stroll around and admire the plantings, garden structures and sculptures. Some quite old plantings such as the huge Bunya Pine are worth seeking out.

A small to medium sized well established garden. I often stop here on drives between Melbourne and Sydney to stretch the legs. Well worth the small detour. Excellent specimen trees and one of the best maintained gardens visited. Also excellent and unique play area for small children.

The gardens are a must see when visiting Albury. It doesn't matter what season you visit, the gardens are a manicured, inviting and vert photogenic. The perfect place for a picnic, run around with the grandkids, or a sedate lie in the sun over a long lunch.
