Walked one way from Lighthouse carpark through to the seal colony car Park, took around 50mins which included numerous stops to take photos and admire the stunningly wild coastline and stopping to watch the seals. Is a reasonably easy walk on a well formed track,...More

A great walk. A must do, about 5km will take about 70 minutes. Walkway is excellent apart from a section of walking through a grassy paddock for about 500 meters. Not too steep. Will see a seal colony enroute against cliff face. Amazing views.

A great walk, wonderful wild scenery & a brisk wind. Well signposted. Saw the sea-lions basking on the rocks in the sun.

We managed to dodge the rain to make it along the track to the seal colony. So glad we did as the views were spectacular and the seals playing on the rocks were so cute!!

Great and easy walk to an overview of the beautiful Tasman sea and a rock formation that hosts tons of sunning seals!!!! More seals than you can count.... but they blend in with the rocks and it's not as easy as you would think to...More

Easy walk either one-way or return. Track is well maintained but can be boggy after rain in a few places. Lots of seals and seal pups. It was great to be here during some big swells and howling wind!

Park the seal colony car park and its just a quick 10 min walk around the hill to see them lazing on the rocks and playing! Perfect distance as it was a very rainy day!

Loved this short coastal walk. The seal colony were awesome to watch and there was at least 15 of them in our eyeline. It was great that the platform was raised so you are not close to them and wouldn't disturb them, this is the...More

We only did the walkway to the second platform, and we saw a lot of seals. It is an easy walk of about 10 to 15 minutes and also wheelchair accessible

Fantastic walk even though it was raining when we were there. The seals weren't bothered by the rain and were still playing happily. Great views with an amazing sunset, would be stunning on a dry day but still a very enjoyable walk. Very glad we...More

Sorry for not replying earlier - the seal colony is open 24/7. Indications are that there are resident seals there all year. Enjoy your visit.
