This will be a cherished memory of my trip. I had the pleasure of doing a one day kayak tour in the untouched doubtful sound. More remote (takes a boat+shuttle to get there), greener and longer than Milford, it also has a different vibe to it (maybe less rocky and dramatic, but a lot quieter, diverse and complex). Prepare for... More

One of the great things to do when at Te Anau is to go to Milford Sound. The best thing to do is to kayak at Milford Sound and what better way than to do it with Go Orange! Tim, our guide was professional, caring and funny. He brought us around the Sound and gave us tidbits on the how... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour - despite the rain, the cold and wetness. Our preference has always been a more intimate smaller number tour which is what you get in this. We were picked up at 6:30am in the dark at our accommodation in Te Anau. We received a bit of an introduction to the area as we drove through... More

I did the day out in doubtful sound for $255. 3 hrs of paddling doesn't get you far especially when the guides keep stopping to talk. When you pay nearly $300 I just want to kayak and see as much as possible. The piece of advice they don't give is wear waterproof shoes or sandal. Spent the whole time with... More

Definitely glad to have gotten a glimpse of Doubtful, dramatically more appealing than Milford... All in all though, Oli, our guide, did an exceedingly swell job. Lot's of knowledge and history about the area, nature, wildlife etc. Riddles and jokes to keep the community together, and a mean cup of hot chocolate. Not a bad paddler either! Cheers Oli!

We loved the Milford Magic kayak and cruise tour we did with Blake. Very professional and well organised. Liked small numbers of max 8 per group. Kayaking was a good mix of kayaking and sight seeing, not to strenuous. Packed lunch was yum then got fish and chips on cruise as well. Everyone super friendly and great staff on cruise... More

Had a really crappy tour of Doubtful Sound Day Out with Go Orange. The weather was raining and windy. We didn't mind, as we were well dressed. We went out with Scott with Go Orange and after the third bend he decided that we were not going any further because it was too windy. This was after 30 minutes of... More

Absolutely wonderful. Felt very personal and chilled out the whole day. All staff I encountered were awesome and enthusiastic about their product. Melissa and Frankie were so helpful on the desk in Queenstown, as the face of the business I was very impressed.. advocates for the company! Louise was a great help on the phones too! Both of our guides... More

Milford Sound is stunning, and you should try to see it one way or another. We decided we wanted to see it up close and personal via kayak. After discovering I am pregnant, my husband and I decided to do a shorter excursion than originally planned: the Milford Must Do with Go Orange. The Go Orange staff was super helpful... More

Took the milford must do kayak package. We booked a day before at Te Anau. Be noted that you only can booked before you go to Milford Sound, as there is not wifi signal after Te Anau, so basically if you plan to book via online at Milford, best to forget the idea. Its was fun, views beyond amazing. Acquire... More
