This lake is on par with Lake Wakatipu blue pristine waters overlooking snow capped mountains. The depth is about 320m.

Beautiful clean and crystal clear lake bordered with snow topped mountains. We went across this lake on a catamaran to get to the glow worm caves.

A beautiful lake with so many options! A must do for any family. We stayed at Te Anau with our teenage daughters and they lived this place! Scenery was breathtaking!

Never been there in peak tourist season. It's really peaceful to use as a base to Milford and to other lakes and attractions. Varied selection of restaurants and great pub on the water to have a relax after the day

I’m so glad we took the time to come and visit this lake. It is breathtakingly beautiful! The mountains, the clouds, the sun reflecting on the water... breathtaking. One of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen!

Personally i would concentrate on the Milford Sound .You won't be disapointed.
