We stayed in Te Anau for three days. The scenery was outstanding. High snow capped mountains surrounding a beautiful lake. Easy access. Well worth a visit.

The lake is a very impressive body of water and is the major attraction on the first leg of the drive from Te Anu to Milford Sound. Excellent asset for Te Anu
