Great little farm to see animals and have tea and cakes. We really enjoyed the sheep sheering! Boat over there was Okay, bit boring and drinks highly priced.

We were impressed by the efficiency of the dining room buffet and the high quality of the food served. The experience with the sheep shearing and herding demo was not as successful due to the large crowds of people. It was difficult to see the dogs herding the sheep. The gardens and grounds were impeccably maintained. The boat ride on... More

The barbecued meat was tender and delicious and lovely cakes included in dessert. Dog and sheep show great and the sing song round the piano brought back memories. A great day out. Scenery was super! Recommend to all!

We really enjoyed our visit here and found the commentary from the farmer very interesting. The sheep shearing session was fascinating. We also thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea - delicious!

After a 35 min ride across Lake Wakatipu on board the Earslaw, you will be rewarded with a B.B.Q. dinner that is complete with lamb, pork.beef, chicken and fish side dishes galore and with desserts to stop your heart..

The trip out on the steamer hotel n the lake is magnified. The grounds are beautiful. The food was just okay and not surprising given the hundreds being fed

This beautiful old Steamship was built in Dunedin in 1912 and was then pulled apart and brought up to Kingston on the lake by rail. Today it spends the day sailing from one side of Lake Wakatipu to the other offering different options for the tourists. We opted for a Farm Visit and morning tea at the Homestead which took... We took the farm visit which included boat ride, animal feeding, morning tea, and a few farm demonstrations. It was lovely: the place is beautiful, staff nice and knowledgeable, food was lovely, and our toddler really enjoyed the activities with the farm animals.

We went on this not knowing what to expect. It was a lovely trip on an old steam boat which had culture and history. We travelled and saw the scenery of Queenstown from the water which was nice too. We arrived on the cute little farm and got a guided tour to see the farm animals and feed them. To... More
