Riding the Skyline Gondola is the only way to access this restaurant and the multiple delicious choices from the dinner buffet. Choose from the rotisserie meats, chicken, venison, seafood, sushi, clams, calamari, shrimp cocktail, soup, salad, or vegetarian fare plus excellent desserts to conclude your meal. No one will or should leave here hungry. I am not fond of buffets... More

Really, is this the best you can do ??? . Sadly disppointing compared to the Rotorua Luge. If you have done the Rotorua Luge, don't waste your money on this one. Given the height and location this could be soooo much better. And the lack of parking was hopeless. Much more work required sorry.

Opted for the return gondola and 2 luge rides - it's not cheap - not many things are as a family of 5 - but we spent a fair few hours up there, which made the expense seem a bit better than it did before we went up. The view from the top is absolutely stunning and the gondola ride... More

We bought a combined ticket for the chair lift and the luge. It was really good fun. I didn't allow myself to go too fast, although my husband and son went flat out is it really does cater for all age groups and toy ,iterally go at your own pace. Well worth a go.

The absolute best place to get stunning views and photos. Best to pre-purchase tickets at tourist outlet. It is a busy attraction so expect to line up but it only took around 15 to 20mins to get into a gondola. Once at the top there is a souvenir shop, Jelly Bean store, restaurant and cafe. Food in cafe is good,... More

Skyline was very busy even though I prepaid and booked online. There was no bonus for pre booking. You still had to queue in lines that take about 20 to get you on the gondola. Unfortunately a skyline staff member jumped on our skyline so it was not romantic. I feel for the money you pay you shouldn't need to... More

There is nothing wrong with the Gondola, except it feels very expensive for the amount of time you'll spend on the ride up/down. We used it to access the Ben Lomond track a bit higher up but by the time two of us paid the gondola fees plus paid for parking (there is free parking, but there are time limits... More

I used the Gondola to go up the mountain. It was fun and you can see queenstown from above. It was higher than i expected. Once up you can do several activities like the lige or hiking. Good fun.

The Queenstown gondola rewards the occupants with an amazing view of the city and surrounds. The gondola ascends the peak at an incredible rate and currently 4 adults at a time can go in one car. There are plans to install a 10 seat car in the future. The only aspect letting the attraction down (and it is a problem... More
