Great day out with the kids, luge is a great hit and well worth the money. Cafe was a little slow but food was of a good standard. Can be a bit expensive with a family.

We had two days in Queenstown and a family of four. No matter what you do in Queenstown, you're going to come across the Gondola ride that starts at the base of the CBD and travels to the summit where delightful things await you. However...More

Great fun- highly recommend! We walked up to the rides rather than catch the gondola. Great walk- excellent exercise. You need to be moderately fit though. The luge rides are fun and fast.

Amazing views travelling up and down the mountain. Although we are closer to 50, we bought the 6 ride luge. It was so much fun for us giant children!

We bought the two ride ticket and had a blast! Be careful when it's wet though as it can get pretty slippery. Overall, a fun experience!

My wife and I took the gondola up for the view as soon as we arrived in Queenstown. For $35 (NZD) per person, this is a pretty expensive ride. The view from the top is amazing though. The weather was mostly clear when we got...More

Hi, the luge pass is per person, they put a stamp on your hand to make sure the ticket is not transferrable to another person.

Hey, Yes you can take the gondola up earlier if you like, they just recommend the latest time in order to make it for your seating. There are a few walks, souvenirs stores and different vantage points that you can... More

I am not sure. Probably not just a gro-pro attached to your wrist, but maybe if it could be mounted to something like the handlebars of the luge? Although that might decrease your visibility. Best to check with gondola staff... More
