Wanted to do something very touristy on my final morning in Queenstown, so the Skyline was a good choice. All the staff I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable, the systems worked well so that queues were avoided and the ability to use the chairlift for...More

The gondola itself provides nice views of The Remarkables and Queenstown CBD. The luge once you get up the gondola is great, with two tracks. A 5+ luge trip is a must in order to get the most out of the luging experience. Other facilities...More

The Skyline area is very good with a short Gondola ride up to the top (5minutes) and excellent facilities at the top. The views are excellent and the Luge was very popular with kids and adults. Recommend a Gondola and Luge ride combo ticket which...More

Fun activity which adrenaline seekers will love as you can go fast but it is equally suitable to kids and families who will love it too. You wear helmets so it is safe and when you get to the end, hop on the ski lift...More

It is at the top of the Skyline site. We had to take the chair lift to go even further up. That was scary lol. But it was really fun to sit on this small cart. Surprisingly easy to control the cart. Even kids could...More

We plan to do 5 luge rides after lunch at Stratosfere. How much would it take from Stratosphere restaurant to complete 5 luge rides and return to the bottom/base of Gondola?

It depends on how long the line is. We went on a Sunday afternoon in May and were able to finish 5 luge rides in about 45 minutes. The gondola didn't take long for us - I would say about 15 mins.

Hi, we are a couple, booking Gondola ride, buffet lunch and 5 luge rides. Can you tell how much time should we budget in total (include queues for gondola and luge rides). Is there a time limit for buffet lunch ? Thanks a lot for your help

Hi there, I would allow minimum 2.5hours for the Gondola, Luge and Lunch combo. The lunch sittings run from 12pm-2pm with the tables to be vacated by 2.45pm. Thanks
