Before visiting New Zealand, I believed it was possible to see kiwis just like any other animal in nature, I did not know they are so rare. After a few days in NZ, I realized that the only way to see them was to look for Kiwi houses (or to go to Stewart island, but unfortunately we had not enough... More

We had a great time here.....really wanted to see kiwis but there was so much more. We really appreciated seeing kiwis and they were very well looked after as were all the animals on show. I would recommend that you see these creatures at the first opportunity

I had never seen a kiwi before so this was a good visit. The rest of the park had a lot of much needed repairs though. It seemed like the park was still evolving into a reserve but not quite there yet.

This is a very good visit to see kiwi birds. The ticket price is very expensive but worth because the number of visitors were not many during our visit. There were kiwi feeding time and a show to watch. This park is not too big and manage to sightsee everything with limited time.

We asked "is this a free flight park or are all the birds in cages" and were told at the gate that the was a mix. There isn't. There's a large wood pigeon with two other smaller birds in a walk through aviary - everything else is caged and not that many birds at that. The kiwi was there, sat... More

This is a lovely park. you get to see various New Zealand birds and a few other animals. There is an interesting demonstration done by the park's team which is informative for kids and adults alike. Most importantly, if you come at the feeding time you can really see the kiwis, which was a wonderful experience.

This is a nice experience. It's majority about birds / wildlife and about some culture. It's very impersonal with an electronic guide. I feel the price is a bit expensive for what it is. If you haven't done it before then do so. I wouldn't do it again but was good to experience difference birds. I was expecting a lot... More

One of the rare opportunities to see near-extinction kiwis and a few other rare birds in the world. Specially recommend it for family with children. We went to the Conservation Show too when was also a lot of fun and informative.

Spent a short time here when it was crazy busy everywhere else in Queenstown. The cafe was actually really good. The bird show is the highlight, and then go see the kiwis in one of the two kiwi houses. Good gift shop too, I bought a number of items there.
