With only 4 chair lifts I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised to find all of these assailable off piste runs. It was mid week and no chair lift lines. Snow was firm in the morning but quickly soften up.

Remarkables appears to have been significantly refurbished and upgraded over the last 7 years, all they need is a mud free car park and a better road. Shuttle services are great, and the lifts quick and well organised thanks to the NFC passes.

This visit we got to go to the Remarkables, the view up and down the road is just amazing, They have great staff, always friendly and helpful, great food and the snow is glorious. We'll be back next year.

Snowy cloudy day so difficulty getting up mountain - snow chains required - poor visibility so didn't see the area at its best. Different to Europe.

Excellent learners ski area plus plenty more advanced slopes. Short drive from Queenstown with ample parking or busses run every half hour.

Stunning scenery- amazing views- buzzing with activity but still plenty of places to enjoy your own snow experience. Definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful spot, whether skiing or just playing in the snow.

I came to NZ to learn to ski. As a first timer everyone recommended Coronet Peak, so that's where I started. The ice was hard and the beginners run not in the most ideal spot. I came to Remarkables next and was not disappointed. The...More

Thanks Scott, we really appreciate your comments. All the staff here have a passion for snow and sharing it with our guests. Variety is the spice of life - some would say! Regards Ross.

Sorry but I don't really know for sure, there were none that I could see, but some extremely steep runs are definately part of it.
