Despite the steep drive, the winery is on the high side of a gorge, this is a must visit winery. Not only does it produce that delicious Otago style Pinot Noir, but it has a great Chardonnay and for the more adventurous definitely try the...More

Chard Farm has always been one of my favorite wines and when I decided to stop at the vineyard I wasn’t disappointed. The drive off the main road is easy to miss but the road takes you up ad the side of the mountain and...More

Our Chard Farm experience brought back memories of drinking wine in Tuscany!! Beautiful wines and lovely little setting amongst the hills and looking up to the higher mountains too. The Pinot Noirs are great to try and Pauline kept the conversation casual & relaxed whilst...More

We could see it situated on the top on the other side of the highway but couldn't figure out how to get there. Easily missed! we drove past it a few times and couldn't find the entrance because you had to climb a narrow, steep...More

Even with a fear of heights this vineyard is worth visiting. The vista is amazing and not packed with the tourist crowd or bus loads. The wine itself? Perfect 😀

If you can handle the gorge road to arrive there - this winery is really worth a visit - like stepping into Tuscany for the afternoon - loved the llama farm along the road too
