This is a beautiful hike but may challenge some as you must walk up into the mountains, crossing a few streams if water in them. A gradual climb but well worth the effort. We stopped at the Routeburn Flats hut for a break then walked...More

I can’t even begin to describe how breathtaking and magical this hike was!! My husband and I hiked to the falls and back and were just in awe of the beauty of nature throughout the whole hike. This hike should be rated as the number...More

Return walk is approx 17k and took about 5-6 hours. Reasonable level of fitness required but not specialist hiking or mountaineering skills. There is a toilet about 2 hours into the hike and a camp building after about 3.5 hours. Incredible scenery along the way...More

Seems like this activity is focused on doing Routeburn as a day hike, but I can’t find the more general link. Anyway, we did it as a 3 day, two night hike and packed in food, clothing, etc. The huts are fantastic, because they offer...More

Trackhopper car relocation service from start to finish (in our case from Glenorchy end to Te Anau/Milford Sound end) was outstanding. Car was relocated to a safe car park - with clear instructions as to how the vehicle was left, petrol tank filled (with receipt...More
