We took our 7 and 5 year old on this rafting trip and they both voted it the best thing they did in NZ. The drive in to Skippers Canyon is a bit hairy but stunning and the driver was extremely cautious and experienced. Both guides were enthusiastic and obviously love hanging with kids, and they made the trip lots... More

Awesome day with beautiful scenery in a special part of the world. Quite different from scenery elsewhere in NZ. Lovely trip down the river with our entertaining guides. Lots of laughs. We were a family group with children aged 13 and 11 and a grandparent 70+. Something we could all do together, and even the grandparent did the rock jump.... More

Mark and his team are fantastic - our kids (14, 11 and 9) loved the rafting and rock jumping - they want to do it again! We (parents) had a great time too, and felt in very safe hands. The drive through Skippers Canyon to the river is magnificent and NOT something I would want to do myself. Highly recommended,... More

An excellent trip. Scenery amazing, enough whitewater to keep a big smile on our faces and the guides were fantastic! My teenage kids loved it and we will definitely do more rafting. Thanks guys!

A great half day out in the wild spaces near Queenstown. Accessing the river is an experience in itself and once you`re on the river, wow, a very cool and safe experience for all. Regular and fun rapids along the journey and stunning scenery. Thanks for an enjoyable time.

This tour is great for a family with young children. The guides are careful and entertaining. Our teenage boys were a bit disappointed with the safeness but thoroughly enjoyed the jump into the slightly icey water, followed by a swim down some rapids. (Thanks guys!) And yes kitted out with wet suits, life jackets, helmets and the welcome fleecy. The... More

We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged, 10, 9 & 8 years. This was a great experience for all of us. We had not researched the trip out to the rafting so it was a frightening experience on what we were told was a "grade 4 drive to the rafting, and a grade 2 rafting experience'. The... More

The excursion was really well organised, the staff were all really professional, helpful and friendly. the drive there is really awesome as the road in is not really open to the general public and is so unique, the views are phenonomal. Thank you to Kim our guide... More

This tour works really well for young children. Our 12yo daughter was a little ho-hum (but she made me do the Nevis swing twice!!) but our 6 & 9yo sons loved it. We had a brilliant guide (Ryan) who made us feel welcome, laugh & learn.

LOL - the Nevis Swing, to be fair, is much more "heart in your mouth" adrenaline. You are very brave to have done that, well done. Our trip is what we call a "soft" adventure trip :-) although some people find the road a bit tii exciting for them - thanks again. More
