Impressive red brick edifice that is referred to on maps and in literature as First Church is in fact the first Presbyterian Church opened in 1915

We tried every door, but all were locked, the outside however is amazing and takes up a good size of the corner block. There are many doors with two main entrance doors. Very easy to access as it is in the city, just walk along...More

This unusual church provides a unique photo opportunity as I have not seen one like it in NZ. This unusual Romanesque and Byzantine-influenced church was designed by architect J T Mair and opened in 1915. Its hard to miss.

Take a peak if in Invercargill - a classically designed and built church with an interesting color scheme, high tower etc, and nice inside too. Walking around the city visitors are likely to come across FPC and will find it interesting

Lovely old historical church - not quite as good as Bascilica

A red tinge to this traditional church made it stand out. Classic design with a large tower and colourful windows made for an interesting sight. Virtually in the centre of town, it is worth a quick look.
