The drive to Signal Hill itself is interesting, quite steep. The place offers very nice view of the entire city and Dunedin port

After 22 years of living in Dunedin I finally went walking up Signal Hill! The view was absolutely worth it and I appreciated it more having walked up rather than driving. I went up "The Big Easy" mountain bike track. This is accessed from the...More

The road is a little steep and winding to the top but it's a fairly comfortable drive. On a clear day, you get a great bird's eye view of the city. Don't forget to stop at the Botanic Gardens along the way.

Amazing place to visit to look over the city and harbour- hopefully its not foggy. Take care on the drive-up there out of North East Valley, the road is very narrow and windy for the 3 or 4 km, but well worth the visit.

Great place to view Dunedin from the top with fantastic views - but make sure it is a fine day otherwise you will be in the clouds.

Winding drive up the steep hill to the summit. The Botanic gardens are on the way up too. Amazing views over the city and peninsula.

We drove up to Signal Hill in the morning. This gives you a great morning light view of the city, the ocean, Otago Harbour and the Peninsula as well as the surrounding countryside. They certainly are stunning panoramic views. We noticed that there is a...More
