Visited the Cadbury factory while travelling on a Cruise ship through NZ, the tour guide of the Cadbury factory tour was very upbeat and informative made the tour really fun and exciting as there were young children on the tour. I highly recommend the tour if your love your chocolate.

This was a light, fun tour. Good information on Cadbury and it's chocolate history and flavors. We were able to do some tastings, and smelled a variety of different flavors for their chocolate making fun! No actual "production" as it could have been proprietary, but interesting nevertheless. Our tour guide was informative and energetic which made the tour enjoyable. We... More

Great tour, informative and iconic. Only downside is we went after lunch. If I wasn't so full I would've ate more.

First, the good. The guide was very good, upbeat and friendly. The down side was you never saw them making candy. You walked through hallways and were given samples of candy. Any chocolate that you did see was set up for display. I was very disappointed and cannot recommend this tour. If smelling chocolate is good enough for you, buy... More

Myself and some of my tour spent the afternoon here recently when we visited Dunedin. The tour itself was very interesting and you had lots of detail about how the chocolate is made, where the ingredients come from, the process etc. Our tour guide was amazing, I really wish I could remember her name! Every section we entered we had... More

So glad we went before it closes. We enjoyed the tour - it was a fun activity to do. We thought we'd be able to eat much more chocolate but surprisingly we were totally full after the chocolate tower

We were lucky to walk in and get on to the next tour. The guide was very enthusiastic and informative. It was good to see how chocolate is made and enjoyed the chocolates they included. The also had the chocolate train where you can make your own chocolate but the downside was the didn't have many extras you could add.

My family and I had a great time, learning about our Favourite Chocolate. There is a bit of walking to do but you get samples of chocolate to take away. Also a bonus you get to make your own creations. Our tour guide was great.

This Cadbury tour follows the company formula as per the other factory tours around the world. The displays were informative and the motorised marionettes are from a by-gone era.
