I was really excited about this tour, and there's no indication on the website that it's seasonal, but clearly they don't like running the tour in winter. I've tried to book online twice in the last 6 weeks (whenever I could get to Christchurch) -...More

As our guide Natalie showed us, Christchurch has seen such destruction, but is slowly trying to rebuild from the earthquake of 2011. As we pedaled through the reasonably flat city, Natalie explained and provided insights about how the center city area is trying to recover....More

I totally recommend the rebuild bike tour! We traveled around Christchurch by Bike and saw how it's recovering after the devastating earthquakes 5 years ago. Natalie was very informative and an excellent guide, would recommend to friends and family.

The bike tour was a great way to get an overview and orientation of Christchurch. The city has suffered in the past few years from earthquakes and slow reconstruction. The bike toured both the damaged and reconstructed areas, giving an understanding of what the town...More

You can ride to the beach from the CBD - i just googled bicycle paths in Christchurch and found maps and paths. You can also cycle around Hagley Park - it's quite a big park. Have fun!
