I wouldn’t go out of my way to find it but it’s in the Botanical Gardens so yeah, take a look. The Peacock refers to the person who built it, not any peacock as part of the structure

This a fascinating fountain at the museum entrance to the Botanical Gardens. It is surrounded by lovely gardens and has an interesting history.

A fountain with some history, apparently found stored in an old warehouse in Christchurch, forgotten about. It was dragged out and painted up, just beautiful

The Peacock Fountain is at the entrance of the Botanical Gardens once you go through the gates, it is both lovely to look at with or with out the water spurting from it or not.

Quite a lovely fountain, with gardens around, and next to the Canterbury museum, easy to see from main gates

As the fountain is just at the entrance of the botanical gardens, there is no way to miss it. It's a very coloured antique fountain with birds and organic motives everywhere. Nice for a selfie.

The fountain is just magnificent and is right at the entrance of the Botanical Gardens next to the Museum . The fishes with sprouting water have popping eyes that you need to pause and admire . Very clean waters too of the fountain .
