We enjoyed our Punting on the Avon River. We purchased our tickets with passes to the Gondola & City Tram, a well priced package for 2 people. It was a cool day but they give you blankets on the punts. They give you some historical...More

The river meandering through the city and its parks has beautiful scenery on it's banks and some beautiful bridges . As you walk along at many places you see small birds including ducks that give sound to the scenery .

It was such a pleasure to stroll along this pretty stream with it's birdlife and beautiful trees, it must do a lot to restore the soul of the locals living with the aftermath and all the rebuilding.

We are so lucky to have a river running through the centre of our city and it will become a focal point as we regenerate the City since the earthquakes 2011.

is good to have a walk through the parks and take photos on a nice weather day. Also this si one of the many, free outdoor things to see in the city.

The ruver is a great place to stroll along when in the city and has been restored with seating and good planting. Nicer than spending time shopping!

I went paddling on the Avon as a child, I took my children there and now our grandchildren. On a warm day this is a great family activity that all will enjoy. Try it and I know you will all love this activity.

Share a wander along the Avon with someone special. The colours of autumn add to the appeal. Stop at Ilex for a coffee. A great way to spend a couple of hours

Hey there, you can pretty much just pick any part of the river and take a nice walk along it, take a look on google maps! It runs right through the the city so in the city parking would need to be paid for, my favourite... More
