For a summerday walk, Riccarton bush is awesome, green getaway from the town buzz. A small pathway takes you through the bush and info boards by the plants give you information about the local flora and fauna. Great little getaway!

Had a guided tour of the house. Left with feelings of both the sadness, heartache and the bravery/ courage that made the lady of the house fulfilled the dreams of her husband.

A beautiful nature bush walk on a good path (gravel/board walk)with good signs for both the (loop) track and various trees (names). Suitable for all ages. Cafe and historic buildings and lots of picnic spots can also be found in the park.
