Our Cellar Door allows you to appreciate the true beauty of Marlborough while enjoying a comprehensive tasting of the wines we are so passionate about. Open seven days a week, we also offer tours of our vine library and barrel hall. Our cellar door is a blend of contemporary design and character – the perfect location for a leisurely break with friends and family. Ended up going there twice on wine tasting tours unfortunately the lunch was terrible both times, My partner got a very small serve of fish 1st visit then on 2nd visit he had entree dish with green salad nothing else but lettuce no tomato or cucumber

In June 2023 we became "locals" in Blenheim, having recently relocated from the North Island. Wither Hills was one of the first wineries we visited on our arrival in Marlborough and it remains at the top of our Must Go To list when we have house guests. We have been there about five times with our latest visit in October. We were not disappointed and our guests enjoyed a wonderful experience. We started with a wine tasting, followed by a delicious lunch. Downstairs you can view the cellar and wine barrels and you can also go to the rooftop lookout which gives you the most amazing view of Blenheim. Apart from the amazing wine and food, what makes this place extra special is the staff. I make particular mention of Stephanie and Andy, both have attended to us several times now and the greeting we receive on arrival, and service we receive throughout our visit, is second to none. Nothing makes you feel more special than being remembered on consecutive visits. Keep up the good work guys, you're simply the best.

Wine tasting is advertised but not available. We had to stand and wait 15 minutes to establish this, and we’re not acknowledged. Poor service, put us off buying their wine. Spent our money at Villa Maria instead which offered a much better experience.

It does not take much to be pleasant and polite - but yet again Witherhills has disappointed - with staff being very rude when we visited with my daughter who was visiting from the UK

We visited this place today. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Nice to be able to wander everywhere. Very informative wine tasting experience with knowledgable but not pushy staff. (Thank you to Suffolk lady!)
We also enjoyed the Sharing Platter. Generous portions and very tasty food. Good value for money.
We have visited many vineyards in Europe and 1 in North Island NZ and this visit and experience was the best ever.
Exceptional location and view too.

We were booked in for our first wine tasting here on Saturday 19th November. Our guide was Nate. He was amazing and gave us a lot of information regarding the background of each wine, was friendly and provided us with everything we needed.

It was my first trip to N.Z. and of course my first visit to Wither Hills winery. The tasting room and views are fantastic. I was met by a young lady named Cleo who could not have been more friendly or welcoming. She gave me a tasting and recommended a glass for me to enjoy outside while looking over the vineyards. It was a most enjoyable visit. Thank you Cleo.

Great experience, pre booked $20 for 6 tastings got way more than a taste, and a discount if u purchased a bottle. We were 14 in barrel room perfect group venue. Jo was a great host. Definitely worth a visit even if you don’t like wine. Our beer drinker left with 3 bottles of the late harvest gewurzt lol. A must if in Marlborough!

We visited for a wine tasting, we had a great experience and thought our host had good knowledge of the wines and area.
I was disappointed that our teenager daughter (16yrs) was not able to do the tasting with us. This was the only cellar door that she wasn't able to participate. Still definitely worth a visit.
