this place has to be on your to do list. Such crystal clear water, streams pouring out from the spring, you can see water actively coming from the bottom. The walk is beautiful.

Pupu springs is a short walk along a well-maintained track. The springs are beautiful and well worth a visit. The information boards near the carpark are very good. The drive from Takaka to Pupu Springs is well signposted.

Really well maintained relatively short and easy walking track. The track itself is almost totally flat with no stairs or anything so access is very easy. It's a mix of fine gravel and wooden board walks. The springs are amazing. Clearest water I've ever witnessed....More

Really beautiful 1km walk through luscious trees and plants. Well maintained paths and boardwalks, strangely seem to go more down with just a shirt up at the end. The clarity was amazing , unfortunately raining which distorted the clarity somewhat. Great clean toilets. Well displayed...More

If you dont have a vehicle the only other way is by bus over the takaka hill
