A beautiful building, lots of history - really worth it! The building is gorgeous and usually not crowded, and you are in the area to see the Parliament so definitely a must!

Stunning example of early New Zealand all-wood building with exhibits of its history inside - all free! You'll also learn about the civic leaders who created a land with almost no poverty. Inspiring!
