they have friendly i-SITE Visitor staff about making the most of your visit to Wellington. They're local travel experts and can help book a range of sights and activities, transport and tours throughout the region and beyond. Conveniently located in Civic Square

The 2 tours that I booked were handled in a friendly and helpful manner. The first tour was round the city and bays, with views to the snow capped mountains in South Island. The second tour was to delightful Martinborogh, a real treat.

This place has tourist booklets for everything to do in Wellington and the surrounding area. They will also book tours for you directly so that you don't pay a booking fee. A great resource if you don't have something planned.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
We will be on the Celebrity cruise ship docking in Wellington on Feb 10/16, and we're interested in taking the Weta Cave tour which we understand departs from i-Site. Could you please give us an idea how long it would take us to get from the port to i-Site (being totally unfamiliar with Wellington)? Is it within walking distance or a reasonable taxi ride? Thanks so much for your help!
