April is not a good time to visit as there is no bubbling mud. The cost is $8 per adult. Not as spectacular as I expected. Toilets ate free. Walk takes about 1 hour and is quite easy.

This place is run by a charity and they have done a great job. It's a really cheap walk, very easy as you stick to a path so perfect for families or elders. The craters are nice to look at but nothing as impressive as the larger attractions. It doesn't really look like the moon but it's still very pretty.

Although this gives you a pleasant hours walk amongst the steam, bubbling mud and interesting flora, I did think it was a bit on the expensive side as an attraction. Noticed quite a few people arrive and depart immediately on seeing the entrance fee.

Forget the name; this is nothing more than a meandering path through scrub with thermal spouts of steam along the way. Nothing to see but steam. A complete waste of time and money

We just made it in to walk around here. It was nice and they had a great gift shop. I picked up quite a few things here for gifts. The walk was just about perfect too

Lots of interesting signs to read and a lovely walk- worth a look though $8.00 per adult for a walk on a boardwalk seems a little steep to me though my husband thought it was well worth it!

We went to the Craters around 10am on an overcast day. The lack of sunlight gave the area a prehistoric feel and while much of our walk was through rain, we left feeling as though we had connected to nature on a spiritual level. of all the Geo-thermal attractions we visited, this was the cheapest and the most beautiful.

We enjoyed the hour or so that we spent there. Very natural and not overly comercialized like some of the others in Rotorua. Very good if you are on a budget and want to experience a natural geothermal area.
