This excursion was Mum’s idea and I have to say I was a little reluctant. After hooking my first prawn I was happy that it was worth the admission. It’s something a bit different and is a neat way of killing a couple of hours...More

Hi Scott, Thanks heaps for the review, teenagers are hard to impress sometimes, they don't even laugh at my jokes these days and I thought I was funny! We're glad you enjoyed yourself and hope you return to see us and try your luck again....More

We visited this place mainly because my 7 year old son is fishing mad, but our whole family got involved in fishing for prawns that the time flew by and we were not ready to leave at closing time. We caught 6 prawns and enjoyed...More

The restaurant isn’t worth a visit. Staff are friendly enough but the food is overpriced and underwhelming. Much nicer places to get atmosphere and fresh seafood.More

Me and my better half visited the park twice during our two week holiday to NZ. Collectively we hooked 10 prawns on our first visit, and 9 on our second. Oh, and they tasted amazing! Also, you must hug a prawn! They’re warm! 🦐

Hi Helena, It's like any fishing there's a knack to it - some people catch a couple and others catch plenty. What you catch is yours to keep - no extra charge. Hope to see you soon.
