Lovely quirky tower worth a look. Tried climbing it as there are steps up but you can only go a little way before it's closed off.

The Clock Tower is in the centre of New Plymouth on Devon Street West opposite the Len Lye Centre. It is an imposing and an architecturally interesting structure in a city with a varying array of historical and modern architecture. It is one of many...More

Nice piece of architecture. Opposite the Len Lye centre. Old meets new at a crossroad. Tried to climb up the stairs. Unfortunately it's closed by a gate.

This clock tower is centrally located in New Plymouth in a very pleasant little park with some old and interesting trees.

When I was a kid there was a lookout up high. But it's been closed by the fun police. Probably they didn't want it to be in opposition to the Len Lye Centre.

A landmark in New Plymouth just up from the art gallery. Not able to actually go into the tower. Worth noting as you walk past.

Clock tower is lovely at night when lights glow. They reflect on the mirrored building across the road which makes it twice as delighful.

Approaching Len Lye's arts centre, the clock tower just opposite is in stark contrast to it. It wasn't open to climb when we were there.

It is a clock. A clock with no excitement needed. The walk up into it is mainly always closed but .. the walk in it really is nothing special or a *need-to*. This clock-tower is more of just a clock you want to see when...More

This clock tower is great . It is having a clean up at the moment but is still well worth a look at. It is worth it just to catch the stone work.
