The walkway has been an unmitigated success and its connection to local streets makes it possible to do the walk in sections. On this day, we went from Kawaroa Pool to Port Taranaki, and the track is surprisingly sheltered given it was a little blustery....More

With access close to the town centre, we watched the sun setting over 5he incoming tide. A good, wide path and bracing wind.

Breathtaking. Whether walking or biking. Don't leave New Plymouth without a taste of this walkway. I went here after going to the food truck festival at the park across the road.

This wide concert pathway shared by walkers, bikes, scooters skaters is a marvellous place to soak up the beautiful coast scenery and get some fresh sea air into one's lungs. It goes for miles but you can walk as little or as much of it...More
