This place has tasty food, creative cocktails and beverages, smiling staff, an excellent atmosphere, elegant decor and a warm friendly feeling. We were happy with the prices for our experience and we enjoyed our visit. A quiet setting for conversation.

So comfortable, the decor is rich, plush, dark and cosy. I think the menu has improved since last year I enjoyed the food way better this time, it was less spicy too which suits me. Friendly service, great drink options too.

We came to snug after a day of walking around New Plymouth parks, so had a good appetite. Snug didn't disappoint. Great cocktails and well priced monteith beer worked well with the tapas style Japanese inspired sharing plates. The dumplings and kumara balls were great...More
