This is one of our favourite thermal pool springs in NZ. It is nicely laid out with various pools at different temperatures and on week days is not too busy. A nice cafe on site serves a variety of good quality snacks and hot food at reasonable prices. The venue is surrounded by lovely countryside and is under 20 mins... More

We weren’t keen to share the water with so many at Kerosene or hot'n'cold creeks so we headed instead to Waikite Valley Thermal Pools where we opted to hire a private pool for 45 minutes. A perfect luxury on Boxing Day. The pool had a shower, a spa with varying depths, continuous water flow with adjustable water temperature and an... More

i chose to check out this place base on previews reviews and it did not disappoint me, its quite far from rotorua centre but it is better than the Polynesian. If you want to be away from crowds and go here to relax then I highly recommend this place, we will be coming back next time we visit rotorua😍❤️ and... More

Wow ! This was a stunner of a place to visit ! Amazing scenery and the pools were lovely and refreshing. Recommend taking a drink bottle as you do get thirsty in the hot pools. Staff were lovely and helpful and full of smiles something you love to see :) definitely would recommend!

A lovely relaxing way to spend a couple of hours! There are 6 pools of varying temperatures, the majority are child free so if like us you are a group of adults it was lovely and quiet. Children are allowed in the main pool which was lovely.

The thermal pools are a nice experience where visitors can enjoy the different water temperatures in a quite relaxed atmosphere. However, the highlight is the natural boiling water spring - a truly mesmerising spectacle which is observed from a viewing platform directly next to the spring. The walk to and from the spring allows you to see the hot water... More

About 6 pools to choose from, so you can easily find the one that suits you! Varying in size and temperature. Even though it was busy we didn't feel crowded, it actually meant we had some interesting conversations with other visitors. Fabulous facility, no smells, showers and lockers. A must do, allow a good hour to have a relaxing soak!

I've been coming here since I was a baby and I love it each time! We always arrive just before the kitchen closes for dinner then jump into the water, which is always the perfect temperature. Fantastic place, kind staff. Will always come back!

Well worth a visit. The powered sites are a little uneven, but the facilities are good. A choice of hot spa pools to soak away the aches and pains or stress. Take a short walk to the Spring which rises at a constant 98 degrees C.
