Fabulous day out

Rotorua has so much to offer for visitors. The lake front was absolutely gorgeous. The cafes and shops are awesome.

A few hours will take you on a leisurely stroll around the lake with fantastic views. I have lived in Rotorua most of my life, so have seen many changes in the Lake, currently it is a lot cleaner than it has been in the past. The Lakefront area is certainly cleaner, with less lakeweed washing up.

Worth the drive around and stopping to visit the set areas for just viewing or walking. Plenty of photo opportunities and places to stop for a drink refreshment as you desire. Pleasant way to spend a morning or afternoon.

It's a great lake - warmer than Taupo and the view from the hills are good. Tons of activities and the big secret the trout fishing is better than Taupo
