It was a nice walk through the bush and seeing the animals. The lions were pretty lazy but apparantly perk up at 2.30 when its feeding time. Pretty overpriced for what it is $30 per adult. We felt it would have been worth $20 at...More

We took our children to this park. Make sure you go at feeding time as this was definitely the highlight. Amazing how close you can get to the Lions. Loved seeing them up close. Really nicely set out and on a nice day is an...More

Although this wildlife park isn't the biggest the staff where friendly and helpful the food bags were a little bit expensive for there size but nearly all the animals were responsive and interested in eating mainly the goats and alpacas where the greedy ones. The...More

Not the greatest of the springs around Rotorua but it does have Lions and watching the feeding in the afternoon is always great.

I wish this place had stopped at the fish, bird and farmyard animals because that part of the park was pretty decent and the animals seemed well catered for. However the lion part was just plain awful. The small enclosure that houses 7-8 big cats...More

Easy day walk through areas containing various animals. It's a good way to see some of the local critters that may not be evident from your car. Especially for children this is a great way to experience the animals of New Zealand. There are bathrooms...More

We arrived at around 4.30pm and the park was EMPTY. Which was great. No screaming kids to pound on the eardrums. Paid $35 each for entry and $2 per small bag for animal feed (had to buy 5 to make it worthwhile). Walking around the...More
