Park is well maintained, free to the public, and the signs are very educational. We took our kids to the park and learned about volcanic activities in the area and how the colour of the ground changes to brown or white. I also like the...More

Plenty of parking and plenty of steam. This is a great place to walk around without the price tag of many others. Thoroughly recommended.

Found this park by chance and it had most of the thermal interest that we were after. It's smelly, bubbling, steaming.

The park is free to walk around and explore. Some of the pools are pretty average and hardly worth a glance, but keep exploring and you will find plenty of very active steaming pools and boiling mud.

Sorry for delay in answering- it's open 24 hours, although i am not sure you would at night time as there are not any lights. It's an easy park to go through during the day.
