First visit to The Bay of Islands and it's beautiful even in winter. Wonderful walks around to do. Great places to eat and great boat trips.

The Area along the Harbour was beautiful. Lovely to walk. Up the stairs to the lookout is lovely and the beach a short walk away. Shops worth a look through. The town is a very welcoming friendly community.

I came to Paihai while doing some volunteer work at the Bay Of Islands Vintage Railway. I am pleased I chose the location, beautiful even this time of you. Good restaurants and many entertainments. Excellent for families. I will be coming back!

Sorry we were not there for New Years Eve - spent it in Auckland. Great fireworks there from the Sky Tower building!
