Went here when on holiday with my mum. The shop was really cute with heaps of cool things. They also have a chocolate museum that we went to with was really cool. Gave you all the history about where chocolate originated from and also the history of cabury's chocolate. It cost us $10 to get into the museum which I... More

A delicious breakfast to celebrate a birthday. We both had the Eggs Benedict on a toasted bagel with a choice of bacon or ham. It was scrumptious. The staff were friendly and helpful and we could have adjusted the meal to suit if required.

Thank you for your review. Eggs Benedict is one of my favourites. It is always good to know that we are doing a good job, both food and customer service wise. More

I'm never one to turn down the chance to visit a chocolate centre - have seen many in the UK and worldwide - so this was a nice stop. It was also lunchtime. It was well signposted, and a fair drive from the Arataki Honey where we'd just been, but the car park is good, it's all on the level,... More

We were given a small free sample, and bought a couple of little chocs, but most of it was very overpriced. Have been to Cadburys in Birmingham and this doesn't come close! The restaurant redeemed the situation somewhat. Some imaginative and healthy* options on offer. * Well I def couldn't describe the kids meal as healthy actually.

It is always good to receive all types of reviews as we always check our processes/product to see if we are keeping our high standards. Our chocolate is couverture which does not have any added fats or palm oil, hence pricing, as you are eating 'real chocolate'. The chocolate is ranked 5th in the world. Definitely not Cadbury's. The kids... More

We've been before (couple of years ago) and enjoyed food and coffee here so returned for breakfast before heading home from our holiday. So disappointed. The coffee arrived quick enough but was cold by the time the food arrived. I had a mini breakfast with a hash brown. And my partner ordered a full breakfast. The eggs were nicely cooked... More

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your breakfast. It is very unusual for this to occur, as you can see by other postings, and of course your own previous visit. I am pleased you let the staff know of your disappointment and that a refund was obtained. We hope you will visit again and enjoy your time with... More

Went to visit and had to pay admission to go into museum and we decided wasn't worth it with all of us. Didn't get to try the cafe either so all we did was visit the pantry and chocolate shops which really wasn't worth the trip out there. Not unless you want to go to a cafe or really love... More

It is a shame you did not enjoy your time with us, the museum is really worth visiting, covering 3,000 years of chocolate history. If you didn't get to try the café, I assume it was because your group visited us on New Years Day. Maybe you could visit us again next time you are in the area More

Enjoyed our visit here, the chocolate was divine in the top 5 of the world. Staff were friendly and the owner explained the story of how the family started the company and how the chocolate is made. Even tasted some samples. On the expensive side but why not treat yourself once in a while.

The chocolate here is beautiful. The name Silky oak is perfect for this silky chocolate that just melts in your mouth. If you love fine chocolate this place is worth a visit.
