My mother and I saw the sign to Chocolate Factory just out of Napier on a road trip from Turangi to Wellington via Napier; the car turned all by itself!! Lovely lunch from help yourself cabinets, mum had the kumara tart, I had the lamb...More

Your car is like a good number that know how to find their way to us. Thank you for the lovely review, we do try to have great food, staff and of course a great venue.

Called to meet a friend for lunch - first time for us at this restaurant/cafe. It was a bit chaotic with a few larger groups celebrating birthdays -but plenty of tables available anyway. We settled for a table outside as it was a really nice...More

Thank you for your lovely review, I will let the staff know of your appreciation. Shame you missed out the chocolate shop, not only do we make and sell the yummiest chocolate, we have 30 flavours of delicious fudge, all made her at Silky Oak....More

We stopped over and they were not making chocolate at the time. You get a bite of their milk chocolate and a bite of their dark chocolate and that's it. Otherwise, you are awkwardly stuck in a candy store. Don't bother.More

This is my favorite place for breakfast, but make sure you get there before 12 as their menu changes! Cabinet food is also lovely and their in-house made salad dressing is unparalleled! I always buy a bottle to take home when I am there.

Thank you for your review. The Passionfruit Vinaigrette is simply the best, people use it on their meat instead of a sauce as well. A must have in the fridge. That and our Peach and Capsicum Chutney, yum.

Nice place to sit down and have a coffee and something to eat. Chocolate factored is an added bonus.

It is nice to be able to sit and relax in our surroundings. With nice trees and gardens, to be in good company enjoying a coffee, a little something to eat, topped off with yummy chocolate. Sounds like Bliss. Thank you for your review

We try to be a one stop all round great experience, which, going on your review, is what you did. Not sure if you visited the Pantry shop, great foodie items in there, including some of the sauces that we use at the Café. We...More

Thank you for your review. You are right regarding the Iced chocolate, we have people visiting from around the world who ask for either the Iced Chocolate or Iced Coffee, both are just Yum, just as you described it.

Must stop by and try their fudge selection - we made sure to return on our way out to buy more and fill up on all the flavours. Gotta eat them all..

With 30 different fudges, it must have been hard to choose. My favourite is the licorice fudge. I am also made keen on our chocolates, not bad after nearly 18 years. Thank you for your review, you will have to drop by again soon.
