Biked down to this great little spot. More isolated than other vineyards but still only a mellow 25-30min bike from town/other vineyards. Well worth the trip down. Sharon was extremely warm and welcoming and had lots of great knowledge to share not to mention generous...More

We really enjoyed our visit of the Brookfield Vineyards. The wine tasting was very good, the host was very entertaining and knowledgeable. I came away enjoying some good wines and learning some things I did not know about wine and specifically New Zealand wines. It...More

Loved this winery! The sun-dried Malbec is the wine to die for! We were met by the principal himself, who welcomed us in the warmest possible way. We spent the better part of 1,5 hours tasting and discussing the wines. Our favourite in New Zealand,...More

We have been buying from Brookfields Vineyards intermittently for the last 14 years. This is our favourite winery. Sharon (co-owner) is always really welcoming. We have bought some reserve wines from them to keep for special occasions and they have always been absolutely beautiful. Their...More

If you only visit one winery in Hawkes Bay make it this one, and that is saying something given the number of high quality vineyards in the area. Wonderful tastings from people passionate and enthusiastic about their wines. You won't leave without buying something!

The cellar door is casual but the people are very informative and highly engaged in their business. That they offer tasting from right across the range is quite unique in our experience. Often it is "we are only tasting these varietals"! We have always enjoyed...More

This was our first stop on our Napier wine tour and it was excellent. Skilled, knowledgeable and entertaining guide, and great wine. Shame this was the first vineyard as the rest paled in comparison after such a high standard!

Go on book a batch, there is a wine tour called grape escape, run by Greg he will pick You up from the Napier area. It's better to stay in Napier city, hospital hill is a great location. Enjoy
