What a hidden gem, this small winery is a must. The hostess is the owner and a real care and love is shown. The pours are generous and the family who run it fair in prices. Loved the Syrah. Thanks

We arrived beleaguered and thirsty, but Sharon changed all of that with generous pours and unforgettable insights on wine and the meaning of life, among other things. I can't recommend this winery enough. Their malbec is excellent and pairs well with a risotto!! Cheers!! Brady,...More

I love this place so much. Was introduced to the wines first when I arrived in NZ eight years ago. Visit every time I am in the Hakes Bay. The setting isn't as grand as you get with some of the multi million dollar buildings...More

He came on a miserable rainy day so it didn't add to the charm of the place which looked bit run down and not fancy at all. But the wines were the best we have tasted in this area. First reds we were impressed with....More

Brookfields hadn't been on my radar but someone from another vineyard said I had to go there, and I'm so glad I did! It's charming and a bit secluded, intimate, old-school, with a very laid back, welcoming vibe. I sat down for a tasting w/...More

Loved the fact that we were the only ones at this really pretty vineyard. The proprietor, a man of maturer years, had a lot of bottles open (the whites weren't chilled but actually at some tasting rooms they are over-chilled so they are much harder...More

This was the last and best of four wineries we visited on a Hawke's Bay wine tour. It was very non-traditional. Clearly not be most beautiful Cellar Door that we visited. John sat us around a table in his barrel room and began quizzing us...More

Brookfields was the first vineyard we stopped at on our winery tour of Hawk's Bay. We were impressed that the owner's wife was our guide! The grounds were very beautiful, especially since there had been a wedding there the night before and there were still...More

Go on book a batch, there is a wine tour called grape escape, run by Greg he will pick You up from the Napier area. It's better to stay in Napier city, hospital hill is a great location. Enjoy
