We had lunch up on the lookout it was sunny and hot and lovely. There are gardens full of beautiful flowers.

I expected amazing views back over the city but that aspect seems to be blocked off due to a slip in the hillside? And mostly what we saw was the port, load loading facility and the hills in the distance. Nice drive up past the...More

Definitely a must do on your trip to Napier, great view of the city and the surrounding area, good walkway up as well.

Such beautiful views from this vantage point. Well worth taking the winding road up there. It was such lovely weather, too. We could have sat for quite some time, just soaking up the sun and magnificent view.

Amazing views all around. Good size car park and walk to look out. Lots of people enjoying the view on the stunning spring day.

Great views from up here. The ocean stretches endlessly before you, the port below you and there is a lovely garden at the top. The road up is quite narrow though.

Overlooking the port, Bluff Hill is a really good vantage point from which to see the city and surrounding countryside.

300 degree views. Overlooks pretty much everything except Napier! A nice day essential. Tight road up to the lookout so be careful if driving. Tough walk or run if your into that.

What a view! We'd been to Napier many times but never gone here. We were amazed at how far u could see. Very narrow roads to get there tho...

Can't leave Napier without a view of the waves crashing the shore and we got to be impressed with the shops open catering to Gisborne shoppers so nice to be appreciated and cruise up the hill after a nippy morningtea in a cafe.

I think you would need a reasonable level of fitness as it is a wee bit of a climb. Enjoy.

Take a cab/Uber?? This is a lookout point that we walked to it from our bed & breakfast.
