Feed the red pandas and the Lemurs, meet the Rhino. Amazing experiences at the Hamilton Zoo. Awesome team of keepers. A wonderful way to spend a few hours, with plenty to see. Lots of fun to do over and over again.

Easy to get around with great access ways all over the zoo. Good cross section of animals, plenty enough to keep the family engaged and interested for hours on end. Good picnic area to lunch at also.

Great day out. After a visit to a local bakery we ate our lunch out on one of the lawn areas. Very clean and enjoyable day out with young children. Very enjoyable.

A wonderful caring environment for the zoo animals. The variety of animals is a wonder to the uninitiated and a must for all to see the zoo

A great place to spend a half a day or more withthe kids. No crowds and plenty of opportunity to do a close up encounter with the animals.

This zoo is on the outskirts of the city, set in a lovely valley. I especially enjoyed the keeper talks. You can see both New Zealand and exotic species here. As the zoo covers a large area, you'll want to go on a nice day.

We went there with a not so good weather but the place is even more pretty like that. A lot of animals that you won’t see in every zoo and the workers there are cool and helpful!
