This bulding was not at all to our tastes but the original cathedral next door was stunning. Also very interesting learning about how they had moved it a number of years ago

Have been here several times for events and it is a lovely venue. It can be a bit cold, but just layer up. Parking can be a bit challenging, but there is parking down the back and on the surrounding streets.

We had trouble getting inside the cathedral because we approached it from the side and not the front. Apparently only the front door is open during the posted hours. However, we eventually found our way in, and it was worth the effort. The interior is...More

This is one of my top recommendation of places to visit in Auckland if you are at all interested in sacred attractions. The stained glass here is outstanding and the view from the cathedral is also amazing. They were installing a new organ when we...More

Came across this church by accident. Just wandering through Parnell in the rain and saw the unusual shaped building. On first impression the layout is simple and what you would expect from a church but there are many little areas within where the light changes...More

This is an interesting combination of architectures. It includes both Gothic and South Seas wooden architecture. It is beautiful but very different as the vestibule and the main body of the church are almost two different churches.

In Parnell area. Beautiful, spacious, newish cathedral. Windows are the attraction. Traditional, Maori, and modern. Well worth the walk.

This Anglican cathedral is built in the Pacific Gothic style. It has beautiful clean lines and is interesting from an architectural perspective.

We were made very welcome at the Cathedral by people keen to tell us about it and the work which was being done. We were not able to see it at its best but the church was beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. Well worth...More

Beautiful cathedral. The area inside is full of light and the area before the altar is a vast space. The cross above the altar is also very modern on a lit green back ground. A huge difference between this and the church next door..
