Arriving on a cruise ship as family of seven on 15/1/17, we opted for a “save with a combo package” for 48 hours that included a bus pass, the Sky Tower and Kelly Tarlton’s attractions. The cost was $110.00 per adult and $60.00 per child....More

This is a nice way to see some of the major sites of Auckland. We caught the bus at SkyTower, but there are stops throughout the city where you can buy a ticket and board. There are two routes, and you can switch from one...More

I like hop on and off buses to tour cities. The price is usually between $20-$40 and it is always a great tour. Auckland Hop On and Off is a great way to tour. Two routes for the price of one

The Auckland hop on hop off explorer was a disappointment in the sense that much of it was in the same area and could have been walked. The staff were pleasant and helpful and without ones own transportation it was a good way of seeing...More

Kia ora Jane, Thank you for your feedback. While it is possible to walk between our three central city stops, and a couple of the other stops en route, our Red Tour alone takes 20km to complete - not a distance most travellers would be...More

Great way to see Auckland if you are short on time. Blue line is crap but the red line was good. Only waited 15-20 minutes at the drop off points. We brought the combo bus/sky tower entry which saved a few $$$$ Staff were helpful.More

We used the hop on hop off to get around the city during a one day cruise ship stopover. It was a little pricey at $45 per person but realistically if you don’t know the city then this is a good option.

This is a great service. The staff and drivers are friendly and helpful! I took a combo deal which was a better option for entry to places.

Kia ora! Your pass is valid for 48 hours from the time it's issued - you can't separate the days. Attraction tickets can be used up to 24 hours after your Explorer Bus pass expires.
