A little gem; if you're local you MUST go. If just passing you will like what you find in there! Also a good selection of quality local books not found elsewhere.

This compact museum is a little off the beaten track but worth a visit to see debris and read up on New Zealand's biggest maritime disaster, the HMS Orpheus. The museum is open on Saturday and Sunday's between 13.30 and 16.30Hrs. Donations for entrance.
