Beautiful little park to sit down for a time during exploring Auckland. Very close to art gallery so perfect place to visit after.

The park is near the city centre and has some public art and some flower beds. However, it is small and somewhat limited.

Very relaxing park in the middle of the city. You don't have the impression ar all being in the city, it's so quite. Safe park as well

We wandered through this lovely smallish park. I particularly liked seeing the massive old trees, some with very graceful limbs, others with root systems that resembled burrowing animals. There is a floral clock which looks as though it might be in the process of not...More

The Albert Park is close to the center of the city and next to the University of Auckland. It was spring when we visited and the first plantings of the season were in full bloom. The design is British style, with neatly arranged beds of...More

A pretty, although steep pathways, park on the edge of the city. Huge old trees, lining pathways, give plenty shade. Although breeze a bit cool in the shade. A pretty fountain in middle and band rotunda off to side.

Auckland is not an interesting city, noisy an no architectural highlights beside the sky tower. But this park is a place with very old trees, in the center of town, where you can relax, meditate and you find some quietness. Strong recommendation for a visit

December and the park is full of university students in their caps and gowns ready to march through the city to a marching band to go and collect their degrees

Nice and apparently popular park in the city. Seem to have a joggers club of sorts when we were there. There's a nice little cafe in the middle of the park that we enjoyed a nice breakfast. Be sure to check out the floral clock...More

Albert Park is on a hill in the city centre. You can see some of the surrounding buildings including the Sky Tower between the trees. June is winter here, and as the other posts indicate, it is cold but not freezing... More
