This is the big city park right next to downtown, very well-landscaped. It's on a hillside so be prepared to walk upslope and downslope. Popular place

We came into the Auckland Domain to see the very old multi trunk trees and to travel up to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Lovely park, very close to the CBD.

The two greenhouse buildings and the fernery were a lovely surprise! It was a lovely walk, with a hidden cafe. :) But I wish I was able to get into the museum before they closed.
