We visited Auckland Domain and enjoyed the open spaces, gardens etc. A very relaxing place amid the busyness of the city. The Winter Gardens were particularly interesting with the quantity and variety of plants from various regions of the world.

Expansive is the proper term for this park full of green grass and mature trees and shrubs. Featuring the Auckland War memorial museum on one corner of the park adds to the multi use aspects of the park.

This is the green lung of Auckland with it's vast grass area and beautiful trees. There are a number of historical buildings located within the area including the Winter Garden and the Fern Conservatorium.

We went to Auckland domain today to see the cherry blossom trees. Auckland Domain is the oldest park in Auckland and is located in the central city. The two main popular attractions located in Auckland domain are the Auckland Museum and the Winter Garden.
