I bought a couples float as an anniversary gift for my husband and I.
We didn't know what to expect, never having done it before, but it was fabulous!
So relaxing and pleasant.
The facilities were pristine.
The young lady at reception explained everything to us and was very friendly.
Will definitely do it again, am raving about it to family and friends too.

Great experience, I went in with a lot expectations. Sure not all were meant but that’s only because I was expecting all of that to be met in the first session, unrealistic really.
Hopefully with more and more sessions I am able to meet those expectations. As I am definitely coming back.

Without a car, this was very difficult to get to. We were pressed for time and so probably didn't relax as much as others so the benefits were less. I found it a bit of a challenge to get into the pod and because you're so buoyant, it's not that easy to lie down and float initially. Overall it was a pleasant experience though an hour was too long for me and I got out early... only to find my daughter had done the same. The shower was great. The staff were lovely.

As my first time I think my experience was pretty good. The facility was dry and clean. The staff on the day was friendly and her instruction was clear. I felt quite relaxed through the session and might have even fallen asleep at certain point. Will need to try a second time to see if I could float deeper.

I had a NEAR-DEATH experience here when my hair was sucked into the filtration system. It was completely entangled and I almost drowned - I was alone in the dark, my head trapped, and with my face mostly submerged and struggling to breathe. I literally had to yell for at least a minute, having swallowed a bunch of water, before I could get help from the staff member to come and cut my hair loose. And - THIS HAS HAPPENED ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD in other flotation centres. So this is not an unknown risk. The safety procedures were very inadequate. I was not told that the filtration system would come on automatically, was not told where and what the emergency button was, I was not checked in on, and was not told to lie in the tank with my head on the opposite side to the vent.

The manager was concerned about the incident and called me about it, but I just don't think they were nearly safe enough about the procedure given the known risks. She said that 1 of 50 clients, in her experience, don't hear the music at the end and stay in there once the filtration start. She KNEW that people have stayed in there - maybe they had a panic attack, maybe their hair got caught, maybe they fell asleep - so why was I not checked in on? The girl at the desk said that she noticed I hadn't gotten out, but decided not to check in on me. They just leave you there for 1 hour in darkness and silence without telling you much of what is going to happen, and without having a system in which failures are anticipated and robustly designed to avoid. People have died in these tanks before, and I could have died myself. People come to relax and heal from trauma, not to become traumatized. This is completely unacceptable and they need to start taking safety seriously.

A semi relaxing experience. The water was a bit cold and my body enjoy lying on the flat better. A bit overprice too.

I'm a larger lady, being able to float in such a small space compared to a standard pool or the ocean was great

I had been very interested in the whole “floating culture”, since I’m always keen on finding new ways to meditate, de-stress and unplug from the hectics of every day life.

I read the first timer’s guide as well as basically everything there was on the website and decided to try it. I went in with an open heart and mind, just having goals like meditation, rest and de-stress. As well as I read it could relieve symptoms of depression and insomnia.

Straight after getting in the tank and turning off the lights, I could feel my whole body being on fire, tingly and just plain uncomfortable. I tried moving around, adjusting my arms and body, but nothing helped. I believe I was in the tank maybe little over 10min, before I started hyperventilating and felt a panic attack coming. Opening the lid of the tank was also a little bit of a struggle, which added to the coffin feeling that the tank had.

So I just must say that this is definitely not for everyone and to do a lot more research about where you go and what it is actually like. As information on websites doesn’t always cover all aspects, and can be misleading with portraying only the glowing positive reviews.
