First time we decided to dine at the Concert Hall we had a choice of a buffet or the sit down café style dining overlooking the Swan River. We chose the Café and what a treat it was. In the art deco fashion red leather round seating with table in the centre. Great choice of fine dining and lovely wines... More

Perth concert hall is located on St George Terrace. It's a large venue which is excellent for watching any classical symphony orchestra. It's well known for having one of the finest acoustics in the Southern Hemisphere. This week Asher Fisch conducted Symphonie Fantastique which was excellent. Check the website for information on what's on for the month. The cafe is... More

What a stunning venue. We held a big church service with about 1000 people on sunday the 23rd of october. The venue is neat and amazing friendly staff. Toilet facilities so clean and spacious. Sound and comfortable seats, could sit the whole day and listen to music.

I went to the last night at the proms. What a brilliant show. We sat somewhat central and it was pretty good! The timing was all very good, although once the bell rings it becomes a bit of a chore to queue to get to your allocated seating. If all you do is go for the show, then I can't... More

Hello Charles, Thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed Last Night at the Proms, but I'm sorry you weren't able to find a table for buffet dining beforehand. The buffet that we offer before WASO concerts is becoming more and more popular and is often at capacity despite the fact that we have increased the seating capacity as much... More

A wonderful venue. The acoustics are excellent. This is the third time here Must get one of the boxes on the very upper level and see whether they are worth the money.

Saw Air Supply last Thursday night at the Perth Concert Hall. Thought it would be a quiet, acoustic , sing a long night. How wrong I was! Bloody fabulous, rocky performance with incredibly eclectic audience - ranging from 20 - 60 year olds, who just delighted in the songs. I've never been to a concert where the audience were on... I saw this building during night but still it was beautiful. I hope that during my next stay I will have more time to go inside the building and experience a good piece of (Australian) music.

Built in 1973, this is still a great venue for music. Seats are comfortable and have quite good legroom. Easy to get to with good parking nearby (or underneath). They could be a little more on the ball with air conditioning - though that could just be a personal thing.
