Went with a group for the tour of the Cathedral and was delighted to be taken to the first cathedral of the settlement set up almost 200 years ago. The tour guide, Carol Wright, was so knowledgeable and gave us such a great picture of the history and life back then and then led us through the development of the... More

Came for Sunday Mass during my trip and realised they had completed renovations since when I was last here. Beautiful church which combined the old architecture with new.

I attended mass during my stay in Perth and I also did one of its tours on a Tuesday morning. Interesting tour which included a bit of history of Perth especially of the Catholic Church.

Went to the Cathedral to say a little prayer, the church is really magnificent. The addition to the building is a testament to both the Architect and the local parish. Truly inspiring.

St Marys is a Catholic Cathedral and it dates back to 1865. It sits on some beautiful grounds. The building is just beautiful.

St. Mary's Cathedral is a beautiful old building, partially restored in contemporary fashion, blending the old with the new. The job is splendid, and the Cathedral's essence of the sacred and divine washes over you the minute you enter. Lots of history, coupled with sleek modern marble. But more importantly it does reflect the community that mills past, or enter... More

When we popped in they had a service in progress - so we sat quietly in back to admire the architecture and stained glass. When you go outside you can see that the building has two distinct designs - traditional and modern. They have done a nice job of blending everything together.

The old cathedral was never finished. Just a few years ago a new addition was added in modern styles and using modern materials. Tranquil and amazing,

Thank you for your very positive (in words) review of our Cathedral. Everyone is always welcome here to enjoy the tranquility or spend some time with God. I was a little surprised at the one star rating when compared with the 5 start words - any rason for that? Is there anything we can do to address this for you? More
