Took our young grandson here recently. It was school holidays so was busy, but people were enjoying it. The old trucks are interesting and educational, but the youngsters got the biggest thrill from dressing up and sitting in the cabin of the more modern truck....More

Lovely fire engines, we dressed up as firemen, drew pictures, played games with the activities they had there. Plenty of information on history. Kids loved it, would recommend 2 hours here with young kids.

The building is a remarkable historic heritage building staffed by a volunteer on certain hours of certain days and has several old fire engines and a old firey's equipment and memorabilia as well as displays and an education centre for kids. Well worth a look.
