The lovely historic building facade can be viewed from the street, and worth a stop on your downtown walk. Located close to the river and Elizabeth quay. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

The government house is very large. It has beautiful gardens there.I would recommend to spent about 2-3 hours. You will need to bring a hat if sunny , good comfortable walking shoes and a camera

Set in beautiful gardens - still a working operation so did not seem to be a way to view the inside (security at the entrance) Woth a wander around and has pokestops and a gym in the grounds!

This is something to look at as you walk along the bottom end of St George's Terrance Great architecture, reminds me in part of Hampton Court Palace

It sits in a prominent position on St Georges Terrace with a pleasant garden and it is a beautiful old buiolding but at the time we visited neither the garden or the building allowed access to the public.Worth looking at from the street.
