This used to be just a wind tunnel caused by the large building either side and also an access route through the Perth CBD.
Today it is much much more. It certainly caters for the executive businesses that are homed here but it now accomodates lots more entertainment.
No longer does the area go quiet after 5.30 pm, it now hosts a wide range of cafes and bars which bring the area to life, during the day and especially after dark.
This is no longer just a main arterial route in which to drive through the city.

Was bustling maybe 5-10 years ago but now a ghost town. Can't blame Covid for this shipwreck when you go to Adelaide CBD and Melbourne CBD which are much much better. Mining boom ended lease prices keep going up

This is an iconic street in the Perth CBD. It runs parallel to the Swan River and links the western and eastern part of the city. It is home to many city towers and older heritage buildings. A real mix of architecture. It is good to walk along and enjoy the scenery.

I don't really have too much to say here, St George's Terrace is a busy CBD street and a major bus route.
It has some nice bars and shops but what I most liked is the few Older volonnial buildings holding fast against modern developments. They give the street lots more character.

St George's Terrace, often referred to simply as 'the Terrace,' is Perth's center of business and commerce. Most important enterprises have their offices in the Terrace. While mining has been booming, the Terrace has been gaining in visibility. Buildings such as the St Martin's Tower, which was a giant in its day, have been dwarfed by the new structures. When seen from the Swan River, Perth indeed resembles a 'mini Manhattan.'

We have witnessed many changes in the Terrace over the years, old buildings demolished and replaced by modern edifices, a couple of ancient facades incorporated, the continued developments of office blocks reaching skywards. There are numerous on the Terrace and adjoining plazas. Some renowned hotels are located here, Council House, Old Treasury Building, etc. and looking down the Terrace, Barracks Arch. There has been a renaissance and it is again becoming the beating heart of the City.

Most large est Australian firms have their offices in St George's Terrace. It's usually just known as "the Terrace." Of course, multinational firms such as BHP and Rio have branch offices here, as do the big banks. You can get something to eat and drink, but it's not usually buzzing after hours. The Terrace, is however Perth's main street.

In Perth, St George's Terrace is known simply as "the Terrace." St Georges Terrace is Perth's main street. It begins at Barrack St and heads West to Malcolm St. It's the main arterial road through h City of Perth. Most important companies that operate in Western Australia, including mining companies, have their headquarters in the Terrace. The Terrace has some high class retail outlets and restaurants.

St George's Terrace is the business heart of Perth. It's quite an adventure crossing this busy strip at peak periods. St George's Terrace is usually just called "The Terrace." Most of Western Australia's major entderprises have their headquarters in the Terrace. The Terrace just seems to keep on growing. Take a walk down the Terrace, it may be a surprise

A lot of work has been done on St Georges Terrace in the last 10 years or so. Now well worth a stroll down to see the Perth CBD and have a coffee in one of the many cafes or a beer in the now numerous bars. Don't miss the laneways off St Georges Terrace as some of the cities best secrets are down these.
